Looking for a fun family activity to keep your family entertained on your next vacation? We put together a scavenger hunt filled with Outer Banks activities and sights for you to enjoy. The rules are simple, divide into groups and each team takes a picture of the item. The group with the most creative photos wins bragging rights within the family! 

Take a picture of:

  • A sandcastle your family built 
  • A “Welcome To” sign 
  • Your family in a giant adirondack chair
    • We’ll give you a hint, there is one at the Twiddy office in Corolla, near the playground. 
  • 10 whole sea shells 
  • Sit in someone’s beach chairs
  • A piece of Driftwood 
  • Something yellow 
  • Something heart shaped 
  • Something round 
  • A Ghost Crab 
  • A Seagull 
  • A Sandpiper 
  • A piece of litter (and pick it up!) 
  • Sea glass
  • A group selfie 
  • Paw Prints 
  • Something Twiddy Blue 
  • A Feather 
  • The coolest hat you can find someone wearing 
  • Mystery item – coolest item wins
