Get to Know Me, Katherine Schuster

I have had the privilege to call the Outer Banks my home my whole life. Getting to experience all of the beautiful things that the Outer Banks has to offer for the past 20 years has been nothing short of breathtaking. Some of my best memories growing up were walking on the beach with my family and watching the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean.

Growing up, my parents put me in pretty much every sport that this magnificent sandbar has to offer. I have always been the one to love outdoorsy activities. It wasn’t until middle school where I decided to devote myself to a single sport and try to work hard to make it my career in the future. The sport that I chose is one of the most frustrating and most exhilarating sports known to man… golf.
