Is there a better place to celebrate July 4th than on the Outer Banks? We don’t think so, although we may be biased! Whether you’d like to spend your 4th of July lounging at the beach, enjoying a festive local event, or simply spending time with loved ones at your OBX beach house, we’ve got a recommendation for you. There’s an Independence Day celebration nearby, no matter which OBX town you’re staying in. In addition to Independence Day celebrations, a variety of A250 events are occurring in 2026 to celebrate America 250 on the OBX. There will be fireworks and fun for all!
