Along our Outer Banks shores, 2020 has been a year of humility, resilience, and focus as we’ve worked harder than ever to welcome our traveling guests, retain a trusted partnership with our engaged homeowner community, and support our working family.
Like most, we were blind-sighted by the pandemic, and it took us a while to catch up.
Throughout the crisis, we’ve stumbled from time to time to ensure our guests and homeowner partners receive the same level of service they’ve rightfully grown to expect from us over these many years. We’ve learned a great deal and will use that knowledge to improve in 2021 and beyond.
Despite these challenges, we’re proud to say we also got many things right. Even with our bumps and bruises, we’ve been able to rise to the pandemic challenge while never abandoning the values that anchor our teams and their decision-making.
Above all, we remain forever thankful for the guests who trust us with their experiences, the homeowners who trust us with the operation of their homes, and our team who, in their actions, define daily Twiddy and Company as a whole. This crisis, in many ways, has brought unexpected clarity as we are reaffirmed in knowing that the most important thing in our lives remains the people around us. In a year filled with doubt, we’re humbled to have brought hope to many as they plan a gathering of loved ones.
“If you treat people like they make a difference, they’ll make a difference.”
