A student section of the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business worked with our analytics team to better understand a wide range of data patterns coming from Twiddy & Company guest surveys and, in their recent presentation of their findings, shared several key insights around post-pandemic traveler preferences.
Thank you to the Haslam team and Professor Kelly Hewitt for sharing these patterns and insights with us–our guests will see your research in our practice.
In addition, Twiddy & Company President Clark Twiddy recently had the opportunity to visit with one of the leaders of North Carolina State University’s Tourism Management program. Dr. Whitney Knollenberg, Assistant Professor of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management, shared her thoughts on relevant data sets looking forward to 2021 as well as her thinking around tourism labor markets, statewide tourism trends, and also shared social sustainability around tourism. Thank you to Dr. Knollenberg for her thought leadership and for her efforts in building tourism leaders for the next generation, and we appreciate her taking the time to visit our office in Duck to share her thoughts with us during her recent trip to the Outer Banks.
