The new normal of social distancing still allows us to travel in some capacity, and many Americans are itching for a vacation after being in quarantine for several months now. An OBX beach vacation is a great way to lift your family’s spirits during this unprecedented time!
Is the Outer Banks open?
COVID-19 travel restrictions to the Outer Banks will be lifted on Saturday, May 16th. Now is the perfect time to plan your OBX vacation!
Why Should You Vacation on the Outer Banks This Summer?
- The OBX is centrally located within driving distance of many locations on the east coast of the U.S. Spend some time in your own vehicle to get to the Outer Banks as opposed to using shared transportation needed to get to other vacation destinations.
- Staying in a private home allows you and your family to have your own space during your vacation, unlike a hotel or resort. We still have Outer Banks vacation rentals available during the summer of 2020.
- Fresh air for days. The great outdoors has always been the #1 attraction on the Outer Banks. Bring on the sunshine and salty ocean breezes!
- The transition from working in an office to working remotely has been a big change for many of us. But working remotely from the Outer Banks has its perks – take a dip in the ocean on your lunch break!
