Corolla Thanksgiving Day Wild Turkey 5K

Fall has arrived on the Outer Banks! Cooler weather, savory food, time with family, and pumpkin spice everything. Thanksgiving Day is just a few weeks away and we’re more than ready. Many of you that choose to spend your Thanksgiving holiday on the Outer Banks already know that it is absolutely gorgeous this time of year. The mild weather is perfect for outdoor activities, such as running. Race season is here!

The fun run begins at 7:55 am and the 5K begins at 8:15 am. Registration is open, and the race is expected to sell out. We’ve been fortunate enough to have a sneak peek at the festive t-shirts and uniquely-designed finisher medal. What a cool souvenir to bring home from a Thanksgiving vacation! The OBX Running Company will also collect canned goods and non-perishable food items for the local food bank.
