At the end of 2024, we asked our guests on social media to send in their favorite photos from their 2024 Outer Banks vacation. 2024 was the year for seeing the Northern Lights on the Outer Banks! This rare treat happened in October when a geomagnetic storm triggered northern lights all across the United States. Check out Edward’s Beach Report, where he shares more about the Aurora Borealis and how back in the 1970’s the Outer Banks had them for a week.
