Katherine’s personal overview of the course:
One of the many beauties that Sea Scape has to offer is the fact that everyday brings something new and exciting to the table. One day the refreshing ocean breeze can make a long par 5 reachable in two giving you a good look for eagle or, on the other hand can make a short par 4 barely reachable and will give you a run for your money. Every hole on Sea Scape’s property has a one of a kind design that you will not be able to find anywhere else on this island. I will admit that some local knowledge is better than going out there blindly. Even if you have never seen the course before, Sea Scape will still be tons of fun and will keep you on your toes. Personally, one of the things that I love about this course is that it has the ability to test the patience of the golfer and it shows you what you’re made of. Whether you are a scratch golfer or a 20+ handicapper, Sea Scape will have you wanting to come back.
When you go into the Pro Shop to check into your round, you are greeted with friendly faces. The staff at Sea Scape do a wonderful job accommodating your needs to make you have the best experience possible. Sea Scape’s PGA professional, Dan O’Boyle, is available for lessons and has done a lot to grow the game of golf in the Outer Banks by working with junior golfers over the years. Be sure to visit him in his well stocked pro shop where you can purchase some sweet swag to represent the OBX at your local course.
