We hope at some point during your Outer Banks vacation you’re able to take a few moments for yourself at one of our favorite Outer Banks Spas. It’s not that you don’t love family time or that the beach isn’t a great place to close your eyes in the sunshine, but let’s be honest – sometimes you just need a little “me time” and that’s not a bad thing. On an Outer Banks vacation, it’s important to include nourishment of the body as well as the mind and we hope you take some time to do both.

Located right on the sound in downtown Duck, it’s a convenient spa to visit if you’re staying in Four Seasons or Ocean Dunes, as it is walking distance. If you’re not careful, with their combination of spa treatments, great food, and cool music, you just might call back home and tell everyone else to come on down.

A full-service spa, Aqua offers a variety of spa treatments, from facials to massages to nail care.

After your spa treatment of choice, be sure to enjoy a meal at Aqua Restaurant, which is in the same building as the spa.

Owner and operator Alicia Arranz learned her trade in Manhattan and is well known on the Outer Banks for creating beautiful outcomes for her customers, many of whom make appointments months in advance. Located just behind the Twiddy & Company office in Duck, a visit to Lovie’s Spa is time well spent on the Outer Banks.
