Enjoying the Holiday Season on the OBX

If you’re vacationing here during the holiday season, we’ve provided a list of things to do and see while you’re here!

Wintertime on the OBX, especially during the holiday season, offers beautiful, empty beaches, restaurants without waits, special events, and plenty of discounted vacation rentals to enjoy quality family time. Although we do get the occasional inch or two of snow, the Outer Banks displays its white covered ground in the form of sand, extending in both directions as far as the eye can see! If you’re vacationing here during the holiday season, there is plenty to do and see while you’re here!

Try a Local OBX Restaurant

Since all of these events are on the southern end of the OBX, check out some of our favorite restaurants in Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills. For a laid-back atmosphere with local seafood and craft beers, visit Blue Moon Beach Grill. If you’re looking for a top-quality steakhouse, check out JK’s Restaurant. Got a sweet tooth? Don’t miss out on froyo, sorbet, and gelato, as well as locally-made ice cream sandwiches at Surfin’ Spoon.
