Friday, November 29th:

During the day, the 9th Annual Christmas Craft Village will be in full swing on the Whalehead grounds, showcasing handcrafted treasures from local artists and vendors.

Friday, December 6th: 

Food Vendors: Outer Banks Boil Company, Lori’s Lunch Box and Queenie’s Weenies at Kind Cup Coffee, Big Buck’s OBX, Tamales by Ruth

Entertainment: Santa at Island Bookstore from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Christmas Skit at Corolla Chapel at 6:00 pm. The evening includes two skits, “For the Love of Christmas” and “The Christmas Movie,” plus a few Christmas carols. Approximate run time: 35 minutes

Entertainment: Christmas Caroling by Water’s Edge Village School from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm; Dare County Youth Orchestra from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm; ThePolar Express movie and Santa: Cozy up in your favorite PJs for a magical showing of The Polar Express. The Polar Express at Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education

Location: Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education Auditorium in Historic Corolla Park, 1160 Village Lane, Corolla, NC 27927

The Details: There are two showings each day, at 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The event is free, but tickets are required due to limited seating. Attendees are encouraged to wear PJs and bring a pillow and blanket. Be on the lookout for Santa! A cookie, hot chocolate, and a goody bag will be distributed upon departure.

About: The Polar Express is a classic Christmas movie, perfect for the holiday season. On Christmas Eve, a doubting boy takes an amazing train ride to the North Pole and discovers the magic of Christmas for those who believe.

The Details: This year’s Corolla Christmas Village will feature live Christmas trees and wreaths for sale, with proceeds benefiting Our EPIC Project, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the Outer Banks community through mental health initiatives, entrepreneurial support, and providing deserving families with memorable vacations.
